Ok, lately I've been dying to make another fanvid. Why? I've been having to do a lot of video editing and such lately at the office and I forgot how much I love it (no matter how infuriating Premiere can be).
So, now I'm taking commissions/ideas. ;)
Not sure how many hits I'll get from this and may end up doing my own once I get inspired on what to do. But I do always love collaborations.
But on a different note, my mom stayed with us this weekend and brought her carpet shampooer and power sprayer. We sprayed down the house to rinse off the mold. Needless to say, I hate white siding and miss brick. We also cleaned up the house. She brought her magic cleaner (aka Mean Green) and I brought a scrub brush from the office and now there's no more dirt in the dips in the kitchen linoleum. I hate that linoleum, as it collects particles and embeds them into itself no matter how hard you mop. I spent a good thirty minutes on getting it. She also helped me hang some paintings. I've begged Wendell to help since last November, but he hasn't lifted a finger. I couldn't do it myself as I needed someone to help with leveling and nailing nails into 100 year old plaster isn't easy. We bent a few nails before we got them hung up. Now to just get a different chandelier and things will look kickass in the dining room. Things will never look kickass in the kitchen until we change the height of one window and bring the counters around in a U shape. Until then, my kitchen sucks!!!
Wendell and I need to redesign a couple of rooms, too. We're wanting to switch the locations of the home office and living room. Why? He wants the home office to also have the nice TV and gaming systems so that we can actually enjoy them together and I didn't want to move the TV and game systems to the front room that people walk into when they enter the house. I'd rather have a nice sitting area for when they enter than a messy one. Plus, the red movie theater feel will work better with the home office furniture. ;)
That means, repainting the other room!! I can't wait!!! I have always hated that color they painted it. I'm thinking more of a rustic orange color. THat will go well with the sage couches. Not sure what kind of paintings yet, something more artistic though. Now just to find the time for this major project.
